Blair William McCartney
August 23, 1981 – July 5, 2003.

Blair was taken from us in a tragic accident in Lake Havasu, Arizona. Though young in years, Blair was a loving husband, dedicated father, wonderful son and brother. His family and friends will remember him as an avid golfer, Glasgow Rangers soccer fan, surfer, and all-round sportsman, whose smile lit up any room he entered. Words cannot describe how much this wonderfully loving, caring young man will be missed. Blair graduated from West Hills High School, and worked in Kaiser Permanente Records Dept.
Survived by wife Laura and son Liam; parents Alan and Sandra, and brother Kevin; grandmothers Frances McCran (Australia), and Grace Burt (Scotland); Aunt Iris Koley (Maryland), Uncle John McCran (Australia), Uncle and Aunt John and Jean Murray (El Cajon), numerous cousins and a multitude of friends.
In lieu of flowers, a Trust Fund has been established at Washington Mutual, for the benefit of Liam McCartney. Alternatively, donations for Liam's Trust Fund can be sent to the SDRSC Treasurer (details below)

At the Cup final, Blair told us that if he watched the game from outside the pub, Rangers would score. He was right.
